CoworkingEU: Notes from Session Co-Learning

At the Coworking Europe Conference we took the chance to host a session at the 2nd day, the Unconference-Day. Since we are keen to exchange experiences with other Coworking Spaces, we offered a discussion round about Co-Learning. What offers do other Coworking Spaces have, which activities are they doing to foster education and knowledge as well as collaboration and community. About 15 people joined our group and we had an interesting exchange. Many different approaches were mentioned, e.g. having a Coworking Space in the countryside with dedicated workshop offers for co-learning as well as coworking and co-living. Others do internal training for staff and let their staff then educate the coworkers or they offer workshops with a pay-what-you-can-effort pricing scheme. We thank all participants for their input and the good discussion. As promised here are the notes from the session:

Coworking Europe 2014

Vom 24. bis 26.11. traf sich nahezu die weltweite Coworking Bewegung zur jährlichen Konferenz, diesmal in Lissabon, Portugal. Drei Tage standen ganz im Zeichen von Vorträgen, Diskussionen und Workshops rund um das Thema Coworking und neue Arbeitswelten. Aber auch das Netzwerken und Feiern kam nicht zu kurz. Wir waren dabei und sind noch voller Euphorie von der Konferenz sowie sehr beeindruckt von der lebendigen Stadt. Am ersten Tag ging es in Vorträgen unter anderem um Fragen der Professionalisierung, des Wachstums von Community sowie die Verbindung des „klassischen“ real estate mit den neuen Arbeitswelten. Den zweiten Tag gestalteten die Teilnehmer selbst, indem sie zur Unkonferenz ihre eigenen Themen einbrachten und diskutierten. Hier widmeten wir uns z.B. Fragen nach Colearning, Coworking Growth, Freelancer Movement u.a. Am dritten Tag beteiligten wir uns an einem Co-Creation Workshop zur Frage, wie Coworking Spaces neue Einnahmemodelle generieren können. Es folgte noch eine Tour durch verschiedene Coworking Spaces in Lissabon. Hiervon waren wir besonders beeindruckt, denn die Stadt hat und schafft aktiv ein sehr lebendiges Öko-System für Coworking und Startups. So gibt …

Coworking Europe

Am 19. und 20. November trifft sich im Hub Brüssel die europäische – und auch darüber hinaus – Coworking-Community zu einer offenen Konferenz, der „Coworking Europe„. „Coworking Europe brings together thinkers, activists, policy makers and all those interested in uncovering the real potential of coworking in Europe. Blending together local, European and global dimensions with existing coworking practitioners, Coworking Europe will feature exciting presentations and inspiring debates.“ Ich werde Coworking0711 bei dieser Konferenz vertreten und bin sehr gespannt auf die Kontakte und den Austausch, der sich dabei ergeben wird.
